Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says she told the police yesterday the five per cent salary offer they have rejected cannot be increased.
Speaking with reporters at Bhupsingh Park, Penal, where she was attending the Siparia Kiddies Carnival Competition, Persad-Bissessar said while her meeting earlier in day with members of the Police Social and Welfare Association was cordial, there was nothing more she could offer them.
