The main opposition People's National Party (PNP) Monday called on the Bruce Golding government to re-think its decision to import queen bees into Jamaica from Hungary.
"The devastation caused by diseases affecting bees throughout the world is reason enough to tread warily in bringing any foreign brood stock into the country," said the PNP’s spokesperson on agriculture, Roger Clarke.
