Former Police Commissioner Rear Admiral Hardley Lewin today rejected an assertion by JLP lawyer Frank Phipps that he was told by his wife about the impending extradition request for alleged Jamaican gangster Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke.
Admiral Lewin was undergoing cross examination on his second appearance at the enquiry probing the hiring of US law firm Manatt, Phelps and Phillips to block Coke’s extradition.
The Rear Admiral’s wife works in the narcotics division of the US Embassy in Kingston.
