Haitian authorities and business leaders have found common ground for a national reconstruction and development plan. Government officials and private sector leaders were able to reach broad agreements on proposals to foster local and foreign investments, and to modernize Haiti’s economy in the wake of the January 12th earthquake, at a consultation meeting sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on Monday.
