Grammy-winning Bajan singer Rihanna is on a roll, having bounced back incredibly well from her February 8th domestic abuse scandal.
The singer is set to perform at the American Music Awards this Sunday live on ABC.
Rihanna will perform along with Jay-Z, Shakira, Mary J. Blige, Adam Lambert, Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Green Day and Carrie Underwood, show producers said Thursday.
The American Music Awards honor pop/rock, country, rap/hip-hop, soul/R&B, alternative, adult contemporary, Latin and contemporary inspirational artists. Fans can vote for their favorites online in 20 categories.
Rihanna is, however, not up for an AMA this year and neither is any Caribbean artists since reggae is not a category considered by the AMA`s. However, there is a Latin category.
The performance comes as Rihanna gets ready to release her fourth studio album and on the heels of her new single, Russian Roulette.
Rihanna and soul diva Alicia Keys are also set to perform on the infamous X Factor stage on Sunday, November 29th.
`X Factor is a great show - there are, of course, a lot of viewers so I get to reach a lot of my fans while performing one time at The X Factor,` she said. `It`s always fun doing shows like that but The X Factor is such a prestigious show, it`s going to be exciting to do it.`
